As a Canadian living in the UK (Kent, specifically!) I think it's really important to remember that the UK isn't all quaint countryside villages - but it's full of unique places that deserve some spotlight.
If you're looking to visit Dover, check out some of these tips!
You can buy tickets to visit Dover Castle on it's own, or you can buy an English Heritage membership to get entry for free! If you're visiting multiple English Heritage sites, it might be cheaper to get the membership

Train tickets via Southeastern: southeasternrailway.co.uk
I personally like to use Trainline: thetrainline.com
