A side by side comparison of starting gromp as opposed to red buff as Vi

NOTES: looking at the video it appears that red buff actually gives increased HP regen (in the video the difference was an additional 1.3~ hp/s, whether its a flat amount or a %increase I could not say either way) so putting that into account makes up for an additional 75~ HP at the end of your clear from starting red
Of course one downside to starting red is that it wears off about a minute sooner than starting gromp, but when you finish your clear at half health only using one pot and no leash, there's no reason you can't go gank a lane. (I've actually played a game where our mid never connected, I went Red, Wolves, Blue with a leash, didn't use a single health pot, and immediately went mid and played it like a normal mid matchup an entire level ahead.)
