Tongue scraping for bad breath is one of the most overlooked parts of oral hygiene.

Food debris, dead cells, and bacteria build up on your tongue throughout the day. When we don't remove it, dentists actually see hairy tongue, visible buildup that's a major cause of chronic bad breath.

I use a copper tongue scraper because copper is naturally antibacterial. The key is getting as far back as you can tolerate and scraping forward to remove everything sitting on the surface.

It's been a normal practice in South Asian and Eastern cultures for generations, and now we understand why it works.
