After watching Dune Part 1 and Dune Part 2 I have finally read the novel often touted as a science fiction masterpiece, Dune by Frank Herbert. I wanted to answer the question "Should I read Dune after watching the movies?" and "Do I need to read this before Dune Messiah if I have seen the new movies?"
