Levels | Why You Need To Change the Way You Think About Exercise | Dr. Casey Means & Dr. Anthony Gustin @levels | Uploaded April 2024 | Updated October 2024, 19 hours ago.
On a recent episode of The Natural State podcast, Levels Cofounder Casey Means, MD, joined host Dr. Anthony Gustin to talk about metabolic health, including the need for people to get more physical activity throughout the day.

🏋️ Many people in the United States treat physical activity as one-and done, meaning they log their activity in a single daily session but are sedentary throughout the rest of the day.

👟 Setting aside dedicated exercise time can be a great habit. But on top of that, Dr. Means is an advocate for infusing activity into the bulk of your awake hours.

✅ What you can do

- Take short walks after meals.
- Do a set of exercises between work tasks (i.e., squats, pushups, etc.).
- Walk instead of driving when running errands when possible.
- Park farther away from the door.
- Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
- Do household chores.
- And more.
