There's no way I'm the only one who purposely doesn't move out of the way at times. Adults are just as bad as young people

I first posted this clip across all platforms a few years back. I was accused of wasting police time making videos all day. It's funny to me to see how things have changed.
It takes 15 seconds to record a video, and a couple minutes to post across platforms. During shift, an officer may have down time and they're eligible to take breaks and lunch like anyone else. This particular video was filmed at Morningside Park, Scarborough, Toronto.
Officers can spend lunch at the station or on the road, I always enjoyed staying out. I'd even sit in restaurants, great moments to engage with the community. Yes, uniformed police officers can sit in restaurants and eat meals.
Some of the most 'silly' videos had personal safety messages blended in, it was a great way to get a message across to the public. Not everyone wants to listen to some cop telling everyone to walk safe or be responsible. There's a place for both.
The short videos regarding traffic and personal safety are quite memorable and resonate with people in a different way.
Nothing wrong with having a bit of fun at work - don’t take yourself so seriously.
