If you have a table saw, you need a crosscut sled!
In this video, I'll explain what you need to know about making one and show you how to make a simple and accurate sled.
There are two keys to making an accurate crosscut sled. The first is a square fence and the second is runners that slide well without wiggling. You can cut the runners yourself, or by premade ones. Making them yourself is the cheapest and perhaps simplest option. Premade runners are more accurate and durable though. Here are some good options (affiliate links):
