ICICI Bank has announced a major change to its Minimum Average Balance (MAB) rules! From August 1, 2025, new savings accounts in metro and urban branches will require an MAB of ₹50,000. Semi-urban accounts will have an MAB of ₹25,000, and rural accounts ₹10,000. Existing customers will not be affected by this change.
