The Heroine's Journey is incredibly symbolic in this movie. Many people have already explored the sexual imagery in the film, but I wanted to tie in specific threads to Rey's Heroine's Journey, I want to also add that there is a LOT more in the film than just what I've covered and I hope to do more about Ben's journey as well as more on the symbolism in TLJ... Not everything we see is intentional in the literal sense... but it is connotative, in a way.
