It wasn’t always easy and it wasn’t always pleasant, but we were able to make GG Allin’s Carnival of Excess in the Florida summer of 1991. Over the years people have asked why would I want to get involved with a person like GG. I guess I don’t have a great answer, but in this video, I speak to my intent. While Carnival of Excess isn’t the only project that GG and I did, it certainly is the crown jewel. GG jumps away from what may be expected and into what is considered to be one of his best albums. GG really like the old outlaw country artists, so it only made sense that a country album would find it’s way into his diverse catalog. There is a full length Carnival of Excess video on the channel, link below. Like the album, the video presents GG in a different light.
