From time to time, we’ve asked you to Stand with us. A few have asked, what does Paddle North actually stand for? So we teamed up with the crew at White & Rice and Nick Gallop, and traveled to the north shore to shoot a video.
Beating the sun to the water, we captured it’s rise over lake Superior. The video has strong imagery, showing the beauty found on Minnesota’s fresh water. But beneath the visuals, we hope you see that there is so much more to discover.
Like how day or weekend trips are non-negotiable. Our parents, grandparents, family and friends taught this to us at a young age — whether it be quick cabin getaways, paddling down the Mississippi or long excursions through the BWCA.
It’s here that character is formed. Life lessons learned. Where relationships grow deeper and perseverance is tested. These experiences are more important then ever, as society constantly has us all “plugged in”.
So we’ll continue to make equipment for your water excursions. Our hope is that this video inspires you to pause. Take a moment. Round up your crew and get started planning your next adventure.
