Homesteading is a way of life. Not a part time job. It is 365 day's a year. If you go out of town you must have someone you trust to do the work. It is a lifestyle that most find disgusting, smelly, dirty and just hard work. But I love it, I talk to the animals and form a bound with most of them. I know which one is for producing food and the ones that will be food. You can't be squeamish or you will never make it.
