Uncivilized Elk | Why Was Ugly Irwin in Tulip’s Divorce Memory? (Infinity Train Analysis) @uncivilizedelk | Uploaded September 2019 | Updated October 2024, 40 minutes ago.
Ugly Irwin, the non-corgi resident of the Corgi Car, appears in Tulip’s altered memories when she’s trapped in the tape world during the episode “The Cat’s Car.”
It’s a weird and quirky appearance steeped in symbolism that allows for a framework to further discuss the theme of dealing with divorce.
Also, I discuss how much I like the detail that Tulip rips paper when stressed.
While I wanted to talk about both of these things in my review of Infinity Train, maybe it’s for the better that I didn’t, as my discussion on “The Cat’s Car” in part 1 of my review already took up nearly half that video without these extra topics thrown in.
