CBC traffic reporter Stephanie Hungerford's family was having dinner near Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver when they got an unexpected show. An orca swam close to shore and repeatedly flipped onto its back, flapping its fins and tail. An expert says the unusual behaviour could be a sign of excitement or socializing, possibly after a kill or in response to nearby boats.
