At UFC 325 Volkanovski defends his belt for the first time in Australia in a rematch against Diego Lopes. Volkanovski outclassed Lopes in their first encounter and after the events of UFC 325 would have fought him back to back. However despite the last fight being excting fans aren't pleased with the UFC's choice in matchmaking, espically when there are multiple undefeated prospects waiting in the wings at the top of the division.
