Presenting my piano and orchestra cover of "A Lie of Aila," composed by Lunan (HOYO-MiX). This short, deeply melancholic 3/4 waltz is the second track from the Nod-Krai region to be featured in my upcoming "Best of 2026 Genshin OST Covers Collection."

🔴 About "A Lie of Aila" & Nod-Krai Lore:
This haunting piece plays during pivotal quests within the Sanctum of the Oathbearer in the Nod-Krai region. While historical records suggest the track is tied to the ancient history of the Frostmoon Scions and Aila sealing away forbidden documents, it serves as the tragic emotional backdrop during the main Archon quest. This music heightens the high-stakes confrontation where Lauma faces Villamina, who betrayed the Frostmoon Scions to steal the precious Moon Marrow—all while a disguised Rerir schemes in the shadows.
To convey that profound sense of betrayal and lingering emptiness, I wanted a piano tone with immense physical weight and dark resonance.

• VST Instrument: IK Multimedia Pianoverse - Black Pearl B200 (Sampled from a magnificent 7' Bösendorfer 214VC)
• Backing Track: Official orchestration with the original piano parts meticulously removed using Musiclab stem separation software.
• Audio Mix: Enhanced with spacious, matching reverb to seamlessly blend the rich, woody characteristics of the Bösendorfer grand with the ambient orchestral backing track.
• Lighting & Visuals: Shot with a dramatic, high-contrast one-point overhead lighting setup to match the thematic metaphor of "keeping people in the dark." Visualizer rendered using custom icy, desaturated tones in SeeMusic.
