Ben powers his Sol-Ark 12K inverter with both AC coupling and DC coupling. Two separate solar arrays. He also has a large battery bank built from two EV's. These are Lithium NMC (Li-NMC). One is from a Smart Fortwo, and one from a Volvo. Ben wired up his own Daly BMS's to the batteries.
