Everybody knows that the New Testament is really important to Christians. But what about the Old Testament? Does it have value to bring, too?
Many people think of the Old Testament as a confusing mix of mythology, ancient Jewish laws, and poetry—all presided over by an angry, hard-to-please god. Are they right? Is the Old Testament, well, OLD, outdated, and irrelevant?
No! The Old Testament is much more than that, as Rev. Peter Howe explains. In fact, it is utterly indispensable to the New Testament and to a true Christian worldview. It was the Bible that Jesus read. It is even the source of many of the foundational values that Western society is built on!
