Our trumpets have a distinct asymmetrical curve on the tuning slide and the bell bend. Why this particular shape? 🤔🎺 It’s just aestetics. We think it’s pretty. However, there is also theory at play with the tuning slide shape. The longer you can send your air straight down a tube before it starts to turns the corner, the more stability there is. So we made a tuning slide shape that allows us to send the air in a straight line as long as possible. We are talking about minute differences here, but we can feel the difference. Â
So we do it.
