Ravi is a materials scientist and PhD candidate at the University of Illinois, Chicago, working on electrode materials for his thesis. Apart from his research, he is an EV enthusiast and entrepreneur in the electric bike space.
He obtained his MSc in Chemistry & Nanotechnology from the University of Waterloo, Canada in 2011 working on graphene and MSc in Chemistry from the University of Maryland, College Park working on nano composites and liquid crystals.
Currently at the University of Illinois, Chicago his work involves computational studies of lithium kinetics in transition metal oxide cathodes. He will be moving to Halifax, Canada after his graduation later this year to continue his battery research.
