Choosing strong equipment is only half of building your character — the stats behind that gear are what make the build work ⚙️
After studying different Taiwan RO Zero builds, several stat priorities kept appearing across multiple classes and equipment setups. In this video, we explain what those stats do, why experienced players prioritize them, and how they may influence the Ragnarok Zero Global meta.
📌 Stats and build priorities covered:
⚡ ASPD — Increase attack speed and reduce the delay between attacks or skill animations
🎯 CRIT — Land attacks consistently against targets with high FLEE
🪄 Variable Cast Reduction — Shorten casting time for magic and skill-based builds
❤️ Max HP — Improve survivability during leveling and early-game farming
🏹 HIT — Help physical attacks connect more consistently
💨 FLEE — Avoid attacks and reduce your need for healing items
We’ll also discuss two important equipment systems commonly seen in Taiwan player builds:
🔨 Refinement bonuses at +7 and +9
🛡️ Equipment set effects and total refine requirements
One of the biggest patterns from the builds we researched is how ASPD, CRIT, magic damage, and high FLEE interact with each other. FLEE can provide strong early-game survivability, while Critical and magic-based builds offer reliable ways to deal with high-evasion targets.
This does not mean every class should build the exact same stats. Your priorities will still depend on your class, skills, equipment, budget, and preferred playstyle. Use this guide as a reference when deciding which stats and bonuses are worth aiming for.
