The Headphone arena is hotly contested space. Specially these days if a manufacturer has a nice slice of the pie, they have a slice of a pie that is very large, with lots of people in it, and very profitable.
Sony is no stranger to this space, in fact they had been the pioneers from the walkman and discman days. A massive quantity of Sony headphones and earphones has been produced as far as history goes. But that does not make Sony a reigning King. The so called King is elected by a winning product, with the right mix of ingredients.

This is where the 1000Xm3 comes in. I hate what they called it. Too many letters and numbers, its like reading a serial number. Going past that, the sweet notes starts playing.
