If you look at the business model of budget airlines like Ryanair or Spirit, the math is simple: pack as many human beings into a metal tube as legally possible. But Singapore Airlines did the exact opposite. On their flagship Airbus A380s, they intentionally cut their First Class Suites in half (from 12 to 6). On their longest flight in the world (Singapore to New York), they removed the Economy cabin entirely.
