What is LOG? Why do you need it and how do you use it to get HIGH QUALITY VIDEOS?
This video will tell you everything you need to know!
LOG is a video file format that tries to preserve the bright and dark areas of your video.
While the final output file may look a bit flat and dull, once you apply some color correction and color grading, the end result likely will be much better than what you would have gotten with your camera's default settings.
If your camera does not support LOG, try changing your 'picture profile' or 'creative style' (or whatever it might be called) to a neutral setting.
This will also prevent the camera from adjusting the brightness of your image during recording and give you more high quality video to work with.
This video might also need some color correction and color grading, but again, will likely look a little nicer in the end.
All comments and feedback welcome :)
