Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. This post, and the accompanying video, are a little different today. No, it’s not another “BIG ANNOUNCEMENT” clickbait. It’s a candid chat about some hard realities - the kind that spiralling interest rates and a rapidly rising cost of living have thrown at many of us, including me.
Why I Have to Move
To put it plainly, the cost of keeping my current filming space has become unmanageable. Thanks to skyrocketing bills and interest rates, I can no longer justify the expense of my beloved little creative hub. No drama, just the facts. The world changed, and with it, so have my monthly bills!
So, if you notice things looking a bit chaotic behind me, don’t be alarmed — that’s just the aftermath of packing, sorting, and (attempting to) downsize. Trust me, I wasn’t going for a “minimalist warehouse chic” look; I’m simply gearing up for a more affordable, albeit smaller, space.
What This Means for the Channel
I’m not giving up on the channel. Far from it! But I am making adjustments to keep things sustainable. This means finding a smaller, more budget-friendly place to film. While this change might shake things up a bit visually, the content and community will stay strong. I’m excited to see how this new chapter could even bring some fresh creativity into the mix.
Looking Ahead
For now, my focus is on the move and finding a way to keep delivering videos you enjoy from a new, smaller base. Although it’s bittersweet to leave the space where so much of our content came to life, it’s also a chance to bring you along on this journey and show you the reality behind the scenes.
As always, thank you for being here and supporting the channel through all its changes. I couldn’t do this without you, and I look forward to the next stage — whatever it may look like (probably with fewer square metres!).
