IMPORTANT: this is a devils advocate video where I argue in favour of a system i strongly disagree with, the points presented are designed to help understand the arguments p2w systems make, not to agree with those points.
I dislike pay to win in MMO games.
I feel it brings real world wealth inequality into the virtual world, which isn't fun.
However, I value fair debate and remaining objective.
So, in this video I will argue in favor of a system I subjectively disagree with and present the arguments for it, in good faith and as genuinely as I can.
also I will use my dog as emotional manipulation.

Fresh Start servers, or Classic servers of current MMORPGs allow you to relive the glory days of day 1, the initial rush of players, the inception of the adventure.
but, why does a genre famed for being a forever game, appeal to so many when it restarts?
Doesnt starting again defeat the purpose of playing a long term consistent MMORPG game in the first place?

Oh Runes of Magic, how I love you, and how you hurt me.
100% honesty, Runes of Magic is one of my absolute favourite MMORPGs, its a game I feel has so much potential, and yet the designers and the producers seem focused on driving it further and further into the ground and ignoring the NINE YEAR old memory crash bug.
This video is both a love letter to, and a scathing remark toward, Runes of Magic.
