Nova Scotia's Court of Appeal has ruled that tents legally count as accommodations and the province cannot refuse enhanced income support to people living in them. Bradley Lowe had been fighting for the enhanced support until his death in a Halifax encampment in December 2023. The CBC's Tom Murphy spoke with lawyer Vince Calderhead, who represented Lowe in the case.
