Raspberries and blackberries are what's known as "aggregates of drupelets." A drupe is a single-seeded fruit, so each little ball on a raspberry or blackberry is a little single-seeded drupe, collected together as a whole.

The specks on strawberries are not seeds, but are actually fruits, called achenes. Each achene houses one seed.

The red tasty thing you eat is an accessory to these fruits.
