For the previous three decades, the NASCAR All Star Race was up there with the Daytona 500 and Coca Cola 600 as ones fans circled on the calendar. People filed to Charlotte Motor Speedway to see what was once called The Winston turn into One Hot Night in 1992 as well as many legendary All Star Races. A different style of racing from the traditional races with stage racing and heats. A true spectacle that would see the likes of Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon, and Dale Earnhardt Jr shine in special paint schemes. However, in recent years whether at Charlotte, Bristol Motor Speedway, or now the Texas Motor Speedway, this race has lots its novelty. Genuinely, the NASCAR All Star Race SUCKS today and is one of the worst racing weekends of the entire year. How did it get that way?
