A lot of card makers avoid paste because it feels messy, dries out too fast, or seems harder to use than it’s worth.
In this video, I’m testing several different types of paste while creating a fun fold card and experimenting with glitter, foil, layering, and texture techniques.
Using embossing folders, stencils, glitter paste, foil transfer paste, and layering techniques, these projects show how versatile paste can really be and how small changes can completely change the finished result.
The main project in this video is a flap-style fun fold card featuring the Arabesque Medallion products and silver glitter paste for lots of shine and texture. I also test additional paste techniques including foil transfer paste with foil and layered glitter paste backgrounds to create different looks from similar supplies.
If you’ve been avoiding paste or only using it one way, I hope this gives you a few new ideas to try.
