Martin Short shared that he’s never been to therapy following multiple tragic deaths in his life, including his wife Nancy Dolman’s 2010 passing and their daughter Katherine Short’s Feb. 23 death. In an Aug. 25 interview with IndieWire, the Only Murders in the Building star, 76, reflected on losing his brother and both parents before age 21, as well as Dolman, who died of ovarian cancer at 58, and Katherine, who died by suicide at 42 following lifelong mental health struggles. Short said his family, friends and work have helped him through grief, while adding that he would “run to a therapist” if he ever felt depressed or in despair without knowing why.
