She’s the First, an award-winning nonprofit dedicated to fighting gender inequality through education, marked its eighth anniversary by honoring distinguished supporters at the Mentor Breakfast on November 16, 2017, 8am-10am, at Condé Nast’s One World Trade headquarters.
This year’s honorees are Lisa Sepulveda, Chief Client Officer at Edelman, Tara Abrahams and Jenae Holloway, who lead The Girl Project initiative at Glamour magazine, and She’s the First Scholars Dorcus and Esther, who did a service project in rural Uganda to teach women and girls about menstrual hygiene. Actress Julie Reiber will open with a performance from the Tony-award winning musical Come From Away.
Lisa's award was presented by Matthew Harrington, Global Chief Operating Officer at Edelman.
