Did you know early Latin used C, K, and Q to represent the same Kuh sound? 🏛️

Q was used before U (Quoniam).
K came before A (Kalendae).
C was used for all other cases (Curro).
Over time, this distinction faded, and K fell out of Latin because it was seen as unnecessary. The K sound was fully covered by C, simplifying the alphabet.

Fun fact: The C in Latin was like English today—it could represent multiple sounds (K or S). Maybe English should take a page from the Romans and ditch the C! 🤔 #LearnLatin #LatinAlphabet #AncientLanguages
