*Creeping Death breakdown was the first riff Kirk Hammett ever wrote when was 15 (awww). Let’s do the math. Kirk Hammett’s born in November 1962. So he wrote it in 1978 or even 1977. Probably the latter, since Kirk sometimes says he was 15-16. Pretty heavy and visionary, considering Kirk’s age and the fact that even the term “metal music” wasn’t established then yet.
