📍 Janes Russell and her voluptuous body made everyone crazy during the Golden Age. Russell is best known for his role in the 1953 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, in which he and Marilyn Monroe played singers trying their luck in Paris. It was in this film that Monroe performed the iconic song Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend.
Jane Russell was born in Minnesota, but her family moved to California when she was a child. The young Russell was attracted to the theatre, but after her father's death she had to take a job, so she worked as a secretary and receptionist. She was discovered while working as a receptionist for producer and director Howard Hughes' dentist. Hughes signed Russell to a seven-year contract and Russell's first film role was in Hughes' film The Outlaw.
