Join us, Carol & Ken, as we continue our travels in our Consort Nova Motorhome called Snoopy.
This is the final episode of our series touring some of our favourite National Trust properties in South East England.
We wake up after a relaxing two nights on a small campsite, Spear Ash Wood CL. After a shower we pack up the van and head to Scotney Castle.
This is a fairytale, medieval castle built on a lake and superseded by a new house in the 1830’s.
After exploring both properties we decide on a BritStop for the night and enjoy a tasty meal at the Bush, Blackbird & Thrush pub in East Peckham, Kent.
The last property we visit on this trip is Knole, one of England’s most magnificent estates. Home to the Sackville family for over 400 years this vast estate is also home to one of the few remaining deer parks in the country.
