We’ve all been there. We take someone back time and time again, knowing they are probably not right for us but not wanting to accept it.
We may have even said out loud, “This person isn’t good for me,” yet we still go back.
Maybe they hoover us and pull us back in. Maybe the fear of losing the relationship becomes so overwhelming that we return. Maybe we believe we did something wrong or feel the need to prove what a good person we are.
All of this can create a painful cycle. We break up, make up, go back, and keep fighting for the relationship, only to end up feeling ashamed, embarrassed, and disappointed in ourselves.
Today, let’s break down a few important things:
1. Why do we keep returning to relationships we know are not good for us?
2. Why do we accept less than we truly want and deserve?
3. Why is our tolerance for pain so high that we are willing to keep going through it?
Let's dive into all of it!
