The USDA just released new dietary guidelines for 2025-2030, spearheaded by RFK Jr, of course. If you watched my video on his anti-vax views, you know I’m not a fan. It still makes me physically ill having someone like that in such a pivotal public health position. But I’m ignoring all of that for this video! We’re just looking at the guidelines themselves. Is the new food pyramid an improvement over its predecessor, MyPlate? Or is it yet another step backward for public health?
