Sometimes less is more when it comes to gaming and there is simple joy in just picking one platform to focus on at a time. Choice is great, but analysis paralysis and decision fatigue is a real thing. When you start focusing on one platform that you love it leaves more room to enjoy games and get into more meaningful sessions rather than constantly comparing, researching, and trying to decide where to play. It's a massive luxury to have the choice of multiple platforms and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but I have found that some of my favorite years gaming have come from when my choices were more limited and I focused time and energy into playing.
