Why I’m Ready For Summer to Be Over
Is anyone else ready for summer to be over? After an especially hot summer here in Vienna, I'm more than ready for cooler autumn days, open windows, long walks, baking, sewing, and finally feeling like myself again.
In this late summer vlog, I'm sharing a few ordinary days of vintage-inspired life in Vienna: morning routines, walks with Mildred, baking a nectarine cake, dinner with a friend, and trying to make the best of a season that has never really been "my" season.
I'm also chatting about how the seasons affect my energy, creativity, routines, and the way I experience everyday life. Summer seems to be the season we're all expected to love, but I've finally accepted that some people come alive in July... apparently, I come alive in October.
And this year I have something particularly exciting to look forward to when autumn arrives: our first trip to Scotland!
So consider this a slow living summer vlog, a little vintage lifestyle, and a very enthusiastic countdown to autumn.
