At some point, Christians have to ask whether constant fundraising from the pulpit is becoming too much.

**What happens if the goal isn’t reached?**
And how much financial pressure is being placed on ordinary members to make it happen?
Biblical generosity should never require believers to ignore wisdom, neglect their responsibilities, or feel spiritually inferior because they cannot contribute to an enormous fundraising campaign.
There is also a larger conversation that needs to happen about church culture.
When people hear certain preachers’ names and immediately think about **offerings, building funds, $1,000 asks, special seeds, and multimillion-dollar goals**, something may be out of balance.
The pulpit should primarily be known for proclaiming **Christ and the Word of God**, not for constantly announcing the next amount of money that needs to be raised.
