“I knew I couldn’t change my circumstances, so in many ways, I was forced to change myself.” Niall McDonagh, from Galway city in the west of Ireland, turned his life around, after losing his brother and cousin to suicide.

Niall wasn’t afraid of going against the tide of popular culture to stand up for what he believes in and holds to be true. He moved to the Bronx in New York to follow his vocation and entered the seminary. Here is his story.
