House wrap or building wrap is the current industry standard in many North American homes and commercial construction. House wraps and building wraps serve as the weather resistive barrier and the primary function of this wrap is to provide a water repellent surface behind the cladding to prevent water intrusion into the sheathing. However, it's not the best option and we believe that you should consider using other self-adhering or fluid applied products instead for superior water resistance and air tightness.
