Many people have gone through a "scientism" phaze where their biggest intellectual heroes were people like Bill Nye, Le Based Black Science Man (aka Neil DeGrasse Tyson), Richard Dawkins and many others. Even though what they said sounded very reasonable to the uneducated mind, when one starts to ask basic questions about reality, it becomes very easy to find out that one must start thinking in a different way. I explain how I went from being a "scientism" fan to being religious.
