HONDA CRF 300L GOODBYE – Saying Farewell to My Adventure Learning Bike
After 2 years, 2,600 kilometers, and countless unforgettable off-road adventures, it's time to say goodbye to my Honda CRF 300L. This incredible lightweight dual-sport has been the perfect teacher, helping me rediscover my passion for adventure riding.
The Journey:
I bought the CRF 300L in 2024 after stepping up from a KTM 390 Adventure—a bike I found too tippy and demanding for my skill level at the time. The 300L changed everything. At 53 years old, having returned to motorcycling after a 27-year break, this bike gave me the confidence to master gravel riding, single-track navigation, and genuine off-road capability.
Why I'm Selling:
I've learned what I needed from this bike and am ready for the next chapter—a more travel-oriented, highway-friendly adventure platform that can handle long-distance touring while still tackling light gravel and off-road exploration.
Why I'll Miss It:
The CRF 300L is a masterclass in balanced design. Lightweight. Forgiving. Controllable. Easy to maintain. Built to hold value. With strategic upgrades (Acerbis skid plate, Zeta Racing triple clamp, CarPlay, USB charger, rear rack), this has been the perfect learning platform.
