In this video I show how different antennas react when close to the ground. This is actually a well-known phenomenon in the antenna World and shows how important the height over the ground can be. I find the Mad Mushroom is the best, but the folded dipole is a close second and thus I use it for convenience. And for all of you Taranis users - Yes this works exactly the same with the Taranis. The radio is irrelevant.
