I've worn a plate carrier or similar vest as long as I've been playing airsoft. When NFStrike sent us the MK3 Chest Rig, I decided to challenge myself to use a chest rig the way it's meant to be used. After three separate days on the airsoft field with it, I think I can finally say I love using a chest rig. The big benefit is gear carriage ability and weight savings. Really, the only thing you're losing when wearing a chest rig is the ability to carry plates, which isn't a requirement on the airsoft field. The NFStrike MK3 is a great option if you're looking at a new rig and you don't want to go the plate carrier route./
