Philosopher and author REBECCA NEWBERGER GOLDSTEIN talks candidly about her life growing up in an Orthodox Jewish family, and how doubts and questions began to creep in and ultimately led her away from belief in God and on to reason.
Christopher Johnson, director of the documentary, A Better Life, interviews Rebecca from her NYU office in New York. Rebecca has won many awards including the 2014 National Humanities Medal (presented September 10, 2015 at the White House by President Barack Obama). She is married to cognitive psychologist Steven Pinker.
