I'm a Nigerian-American writer, artist and book blogger based out of NC, by way of NYC. You will hear me gush and rave about the books I love and vent/rant about the books...I'm not so fond of lol I will also talk about writing and my novel writing/playwright(ing) process a lot-if you like that sort of thing. I will also dive into important social topics about race, class, gender, faith and sexuality. I read a wide variety, across all genres and 'age' groups, although I read the romance genre the most. This channel is rooted in discussions, book hauls, strong opinions, the intersection of faith and fiction and writing. In terms of books-you will discover a lot of new author faves here. I love indie books and indie authors and my kindle is my BFF. I also love fantasy in all it's forms and classic children's literature. I'm a die hard romantic and romance with a little something else thrown in (fantasy, sci-fi, history) is my idea of book heaven. Romance is my favorite genre-#blackromance and #blackindieromance is everything. When it comes to my discussions diving into more serious topics-I’m intrigued by the psychology behind it all and want to push my own emotional barriers, be more vulnerable while challenging us all to think deeper and go beyond our comfort zones.
