My thoughts the Outlander series.
IN CASE YOU'RE WONDERING:
-Yes, I did enjoy Outlander when I read it over a year ago. You can see my original review of it here: youtube.com/watch?v=HoF82st7t-w Although I rated it 4 stars, I did point out some of the same things I saw as problems. I was willing to overlook them then, but in book 2 I saw no growth so can no longer brush it off.
-The Starz show took out all of the problematic scenes and lines that I pointed out in this video, so I would still recommend the show.
